Ponte Brolla

Klettergarten, Schweiz TI

As mentioned before on our Wageten hike it became to cold for us for outdoor climbing. So the plan was to go south providing us with a comfortable temperature level. The destination was the famous Ponte Brolla climbing area. Many guides mention that it gets really crowded during summer times and we can confirm that this is the case even in late autumn. But it wasn’t bad at all. Given the large amount of possible routes (even multi pitch ones) the crowd was spread all over the area providing us with enough free space for undisturbed climbing. 🙂

We spent the night in a tiny little hotel close to Ponte Brolla (deeper in the valle maggia) with a lovely and tasty restaurant attached to.
