Wageten

Beautyful autmn here in Switzerland, but for us too cold for outdoor climbing. So we decided to hike to a summit. The ‘Wageten’ is pretty close to Zurich and compared to the other close mountains supposed to be not so crowded.
We drove to Niederurnen and took the cablecar up to Morgenholz. From there we decided to take a small detour 🙂 To be honest we did not have no clue to which direction we should go, so it was a 50:50 chance and we took the wrong 50 🙂 Anyhow the detour was not that big and after we gained a bit of height we saw our destination and could adjust our headings a bit.
The Wageten is an easy hike up with a bit of climbing at the end. (UIAA 1)
As we did not want to take the same way down we decided to hike down to Oberurnen and back to our car. A rather looong and boring detour.
